Just got a new prop! Isn't it cute? There is also a blue version which I'd love to have, but I'll save up for it another time. I figured this would be more adaptable for either a boy or a girl.

Here is my first photo shoot with my Nikon D80!!!

My first 2 photo shoots with my new camera!!

I'm so excited to announce that I've had not one, but two, count em'...two photo shoots, since last Friday!! Not only that, but I have two other potential photo shoot requests stemming directly from these ones. I've just about finished editing, and am hoping to have them done very soon. I had so much fun, I can hardly wait to show you what great clients I had to work with!

Here's a sneak peek...

The first is a young married couple that just announced they were expecting, so I was able to incorporate that in some of the shots...



The second is for the wife and 2 small children of a brave soldier who's in Iraq as we speak!




I hope they are as pleased as I am of the end results. I will post some more soon.

Grandma "Mimi", who hadn't seen the children since the baby was a few weeks old, has been enjoying all the extra hugs and kisses freely given as well as received.

Our daughter enjoyed herself a lot! It wasn't long before the waves called out to her and she gave in to temptation!

More than just dust bunnies and dog hair...

...were found under our bed.

Shiver!!! Thankfully it was not alive!

Not sure what kind of spider it was, but it doesn't look to me like a harmless one. Glad it didn't bite anyone, especially me, since it was under my side of the bed!!

Look at those beady little eyes in the front! Ewwww! Really almost looks as though the spider had extra eyes too. Could it be?

Here's another play on photoshop using the short crosshatched brushstrokes. The spider still grosses me out but the technique is totally cool!

Our little "photo shoot" finally ended when I sucked him up in the vaccuum cleaner! Buh-Bye Now, Creepy Critter!
